THE BIG DAY

Say your vows beside Ha Long Bay

Exchange your vows at the Royal International Convention Palace. Under bright chandeliers, beside the cake tower and the champagne tower, the day becomes one of the few a family keeps for good.

The five-floor building holds two ballrooms and three function rooms, close to 2,000 guests in all — room for a sixteen-seat lunch between two families and for a thousand-guest reception alike, and close enough together that nobody has to travel between the ceremonies.

  • Ceremony and dinner side by side — The ballrooms divide by partition, so both parts of the day happen in adjoining spaces in one evening.
  • Guests from afar stay on site — The Convention Palace sits inside the grounds of Royal Ha Long Hotel in Bai Chay — no travel between where you sleep and where you celebrate.
  • One team from the first viewing — The wedding team handles both the site visit and the booking — one number, one point of contact.

FAQ

Wedding questions, answered

Not finding the answer you need? Call (+84) 2033 848 777 and the wedding team will answer directly.

Where in the hotel are weddings held?

At the Royal International Convention Palace — a five-floor building inside the hotel grounds holding two ballrooms and three function rooms, close to 2,000 guests in total, connected directly to the restaurants, bars and cafe.

How many guests does the largest hall hold?

Ha Long Ball Room covers 768 m² (32 × 24 m): 550 guests at a banquet, 1,000 standing, or 1,000 seats in theatre layout.

Hoang Gia Ball Room covers 672 m² (21 × 32 m): 350 guests at a banquet or 650 standing.

Is there a smaller room for an engagement lunch or a meeting of the two families?

Yes. Bay Lounge and Royal Lounge are 36 m² each: Bay Lounge seats 16 at a round table, Royal Lounge 18 at a long one.

For something a little larger, the two Bái Tử Long rooms of 64 m² and 32 m² seat 50 and 24 respectively at a banquet.

Can the ballrooms be divided?

They can. Ha Long splits into two 384 m² halls, each seating 230 at a banquet; Hoang Gia into rooms of 504 m², 336 m² and 168 m². The ceremony and the dinner can therefore take place in two adjoining spaces on the same afternoon.

Where do guests travelling in stay?

At Royal Ha Long Hotel in Bai Chay, in the same grounds as the Convention Palace — guests never have to travel between where they sleep and where the wedding is held.

Who do we contact to view a hall and make a booking?
